Khmer Cuisine-Lok Lak

Lok Lak is a traditional Khmer Food for Cambodian. It is served in most of the restaurants in Siem Reap, but taste varied depending on the chef. This is basically marinated pork or beef slices served with locally grown spicy green peppercorns.

The pork or beef slices must first be marinated before cook so that it is tastier. Besides, marinating the meat makes it more juicy and soft when it is served. This is a simple dish that everyone can cook at home cook food at for lunch or dinner. Lok lak go well with rice or salad.
